Painting can be fun and therapeutic. Over the years, creating my art has become an emotional outlet, a way to express my feelings, a tool to explore my identity, and a stage for conversation.

In this 10-week course, students will have the opportunity to experience art by exploring skill-based art forms and techniques, understanding color theory, and composition. Furthermore, students will be able to experiment with expressive painting and then apply those skills to their art.

The location is 229 Trade Alley, Suite A (up two flights of stairs into a beautiful north-light filled space). Please contact Cindy Clontz for more information or to register 828 308-2433 (
